1899 First Car

The first car built entirely in the Stoewer Brothers factory was this 2-cylinder car of 1899. It was used for special event parades on several occasions right up until the 1930's.  However, when the advancing Russian army secured Stettin in 1945 at the end of WWII, this car plus equipment from the factory were taken back to Russia.  For many years following it was thought that this car must have been lost.  But no.  It has survived and is now cared for in original condition at the Moscow Polytechnic Museum.
