This model was Stoewer's first production car with a petrol engine.  It was manufactured entirely in-house.  In 1945 the invading Russian army removed the first car of the model produced from the factory museum and took it back to Russia.  Fortunately, the 70+ years since WWII have been kind to this car.  The Russian custodians have diligently preserved the car in almost perfect, original condition and little deterioration over time can be observed.  It can now be seen displayed in the newly renovated Moscow Polytechnic Museum.
